Mid last week, the European Union filed a lawsuit against the tobacco company RJ Reynolds for money laundering, in which that company is accused to selling cigarettes to criminal networks, which paid for the cigarettes with money earned in drug and arms smuggling. The 149 page lawsuit was filed in New York and among the criminals noted to be leaders of the smuggling ring is current Montenegrin President, Milo Djukanović. This suit has yet again proved all the revelations by Nacional concerning the tobacco mafia, where Djukanović has played a significant role in the Balkan region.
